The grand nylon's restaurant had its inauguration during our visit. The ground and first floors are developing. The helpful staff take care of guest comfort and politely manage queries. All in all, grand unity is a good place to stay if you visit the statue of unity, though a bit high priced. The storage was odd as the space below the clothes rod was too short and could not accommodate shirts that you hang there. They do not have electric kettles at rooms. The spiral steel stairs are not very convenient to use. The elevator is tiny and though shows it can carry six persons is comfortable for only four. There are no drawers or other storage from small items you carry. They have no table lamp at the desk if you want to work. They have no electronic safes in the room. They did not have an ala carte breakfast menu, so we ate outside each morning we stayed at grand unity. They serve good and tasty food that is slightly expensive if you compare prices to restaurants. We took lunch one day and had room service orders on two evenings. They have a restaurant on the second floor with a limited menu. You can expect to sleep well if you get a room away from the highway. The mattress was comfortable and the the sheeting and blankets were good. The housekeeping is good and we found our room made up nicely each day we came back from our trips to the state of unity and elsewhere. Our room was compact and had good air conditioning. The The Grand Unity has contacts of taxis and auto rickshaws if you don't have your own vehicle to move around. They have wifi which is of great help as the location has poor phone network. The The Grand Unity operates with minimal staffing but the employees take care of guests to the latter's satisfaction. It has thirty three rooms, sixteen on the second and seventeen on the third floor.
